Our mission, at SALT Health, is to provide proactive, preventative, and personalized care through our exceptional doctors, staff, and suite of services that meet you at every turn. We have partnered with Dr. Aunna Herbst, DO, a family medicine specialist practicing for over 11 years. As a functional medicine doctor, Dr. Herbst takes a more holistic and integrated approach to patient care, treating the underlying causes of disease, rather than the symptoms. She began her professional journey in 1999 when she graduated from the Trinity College of Natural Health. She graduated from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 and completed her certification with the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2013.

MEMBERS OF SALT HEALTH PAY A FLAT, MONTHLY FEE AS A RETAINER CONTRACT BETWEEN THE PATIENT AND PHYSICIAN TO COVER PRIMARY CARE MEDICAL SERVICES AND SALT HEALTH AMENITIES SUCH AS

This direct-pay model of operating primary care clinics has grown and evolved in the recent years – known as “direct provider care” (DPC) or “concierge medicine.” By eliminating third party payers (government and for-profit insurance carriers) and capping membership, our providers are able to fully focus on the health concerns of each individual. Our mission is to restore the art of medicine by focusing on preventative care, prompt access, and the personal relationship between patient and doctor that only a member-focused experience can provide.

Exam Suites

The clinic features six Exam Suites to care for SALT Health Members. Members have direct, one-on-one access to their physicians and healthcare professionals for an affordable membership fee (and no copays!).

IV Therapy Suite

SALT Health Members receive personalized IV vitamin nutrition, overseen by their physician at discounted rates. These may include:

Dietitian Consult Suite

Our registered dietitians (RDs) provide nutrition education on topics as diverse as diabetes management and prevention, weight loss counseling, cardiovascular health, food sensitivities and allergies, personalized diet plans, and nutrition science. Food and quality nutrition is a key part of foundational health and our RDs are always up-todate on the latest scientific research through their continuing education. SALT Health is happy to provide our members with RD services at an incredible value of $75 per hour (vs. the average cost of $125 in Arkansas). Consults are also included with many specialty labs, and we have several RD consultation packages.

SALT Health Lab & X-Ray

For the convenience of our Members, labs, blood work, and x-ray can be performed on-site and results reviewed by the SALT Health provider to personalize your wellness plan.
